Connect2Field closes first capital raising, forms board
Looks to global market.
Job management and scheduling software vendor Connect2Field closed its first capital raising to fund faster expansion. The funding was provided by private equity and individual investors in Australia and New Zealand.
Connect2Field had formed a formal board led by CEO Steve Orenstein. Other members included Gavin Partridge, Paul Orenstein, Chris Woodforde and Rackspace CloudU curator and industry commentator Ben Kepes.
“I talk to SaaS start ups literally every day. What excites me about Connect2Field is that it brings all the benefits of Cloud Computing to Ma and Pa businesses,” said Kepes.
Steve Orenstein said the software had been picked up by customers globally. “The overwhelming worldwide adoption of the product confirms just how companies around the world are wanting to improve the way they do business using technology and the cloud,” Orenstein said.
The web-based software allowed companies to capture job details and send them to their fieldworker’s mobile device, which greatly improved customer service and support.
